I should've written this a long time ago. There is nothing special about the hotel the rooms are ok air conditioning was horrible tho. Overpriced for Balikesir if you ask me and thank God I don't have many financial problems but for a regular person you can get similar quality at other locations which are nearby. My biggest concern was with their restaurant. I went to that godawful place more than once most of the days and always had problems with the food. Was always overpriced and always had temperature problems overcooked, raw, frozen etc. The only reason I kept going was the amazing owner and the wife. The lady always tried to make things right and took care of everything on her own thus the second star. Basically the place always had management problems idk if it is still the same but they still got the same managers so I am guessing it's the same.

I was traveling from Istanbul and stayed a night on my way to kusadasi. The staff were nice despite the language barrier. The rooms of decent size and clean.However the blanket was thin and small like the one at the hospital. A hotel should have in my opinion a real duvet cover.

This should by all accounts be 5 stars, however on the day, things just didn’t go right. However starting with the positives, the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. If not for the staff, I would be giving it one star. The air conditioning was broken and the room was extremely hot. Finally changed rooms after 4 hours as unable to sleep. The second room was cooler but the couldn’t turn on heating as it was broken. The water in the shower was also cold,therore couldn’t use the shower. In the morning the staff kindly opened another room whereby I had the use of warm water. On a side note,the bed was comfortable but the pillows were too deep to rest my head. In the end I used a small throw over cushion . I was expecting a good breakfast but unfortunately the warm selection was limited to boiled eggs, fried eggs which looked like plastic and some wam pancake type bread. However the Kitchen staff did make me a delicious omelette upon request..so overall a bit of a disaster. I spoke to the manager, who kindly agreed to give me 1/2 of the booking payment back.the hotel doesn’t appear old,but I get the feeling that it now requires tlc for much needed improvement.

Modern hotel, large beds, very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only complaint smoking allowed in the restaurant, evening and morning. The air con was set on 28% and would not go to a lower setting. Enjoyed the stay.

I did not like that the hotel staff aren’t following the government/ health regulations in the hotel. They have always put down their masks , even in front of the customers. Me and my partner have been travelling across Turkey for the past 3 weeks and every hotel has kept the regulations as per posted signs. We have warned the staff couple of times, and even the higher management but no improvement. It was like a joke. One of the reception ladies was sneezing and coughing all the time with a mask down... it was just annoying to see how careless are the staff to the customers. There was a sign that non-hotel guests aren’t acceptable in the property. And if it is a business meeting I should pay 100 Lira. Than you see, people from the street coming in to buy coffee from the restaurant... so unacceptable!! We love Balikesir but Ramada will be no more choice for us to stay in and neither would recommend it. Customer service is a key thing but health is everything!

From now on, we will start all our Hotels reviews by mentioning the way the management & Front desk treat their VIPs and Elite Members, due to huge changes in regards to normal procedures, This being said...As a platinum Elite, upgraded to a nice suite, Zeineb at front desk is one of a kind, Bell boy very hospitable, Thank you Aşkin for all your help...Thank you to all the hospitable team...
